Please stay tuned…
Please stay tuned…
Sorry for the lack of posting, I’m home now though…
I’m in the Boston area for the weekend, hanging out with a friend and hopefully interviewing somebody for my next Truthout piece. Should be good. I’ll post some more later today.
I just wanted to offer a quick note of apology to my regular readers: if the site has been acting a teensy bit sluggish or slow today it’s because Brian over at TVNewser (one of the best damn media blogs out there) linked here and the server isn’t used to this much traffic (I’m loving […]
Site difficulties
Unfortunately, the site has been having some problems over the past 24 hours or so, due to a problem on the part of my webhost, GoDaddy.com. The last update I got from them was that their “Advanced Technical Support Team” was working on my “complex issue” and their “most skilled technicians” will be […]
Hey, all. Sorry for the problems that the site has been having today, I talked to my host and they don’t know what the problem is. However, hopefully the problem will pass, and if the site is being attacked (which I doubt, but it’s possible- I won’t get a chance to look over my server […]
A quick reminder and some notes about ongoing projects. The following on-site projects have just been updated:
Iraq Civil War Watch
The “Who opposes Iraq troop surges” list
Other active projects include our dual Handicapping the 2008 Republicans and Handicapping the 2008 Democrats features, which both have overview information about each prospective candidate, with emphasis on their weaknesses.
I […]
For much of today, I was en route to my home state, New Hampshire. While at the airport security check-in, I noticed that there was a recorded announcement playing on loop every ten minutes or so. “Your attention please,” a voice that sounds like a game show announcer says. “The Department of Homeland Security has […]
My itinerary got messed up. My flight is at 7:30PM not 7:30AM. Boy, do I feel stupid. At least I caught my mistake before I spent the whole day in O’Hare waiting though.
Check out a new section of the website I’m busy building… It’s only partially done and not all of the links work yet, but you’ll get the idea.
Update: Okay, it’s pretty much done now. I’ll update it later, but it’s fully functional now at least. Here’s a screenshot:
Go on, check it out.
Phew, sorry for the lack of posting yesterday (or today, depending on where you live). I was at two consecutive film shoots, one of them my own, the other of a friend. I’ve been working on one or the other in one way or another of them pretty much non-stop since I woke up until…. […]
Okay, I’m off to a panel on human rights. Back in a few hours. In the meantime, I reccomend checking out:
The Blue State: Spielberg to make documentary about global warming
McClatchy: States push renewable energy, federal government lags
Michael Moore: Cut and Run, the Only Brave Thing to Do
TPMM: Don’t Call It a Comeback! (For Katherine Harris)
Update: […]
For those of you who are new to this site (welcome, Truthout readers!), I’d encourage you to check out the new “About” page. Or even if you’re a long-time reader, it might be worth a quick look. Or something. I don’t want to sound too self-centered like some bloggers, which is why I haven’t even […]
Sorry for the lack of posting… I’m at my aunt and uncle’s house now, with an incredibly slow internet connection. I’ll be here until Sunday night, but I’ll still be posting regularly.
I’m really tired so I’ll be going to bed early tonight. A few notes before I go, however:
My new op-ed in Truthout will be published on Sunday or Monday (earlier I thought it was gonna be today). No biggy.
Thanksgiving is a traditionally slow news time. Less people are out making news, and less […]
