Our elected reps could use a nudge in the right direction over the health care legislation that’s in Congress right now and the importance of including a public option in the final bill. It’s one thing to blog about it, but writing a letter is a lot more helpful at this stage.
I just wrote to my Representative Jan Shakowsky (Illinois’ 9th Congressional District: the Fighting Ninth!), as well as Senators Dick Durbin and Roland Burris concerning health care reform. Here’s a scanned copy of the Durbin letter (the other two are virtually identical).
