July fundraising #s

McCain raised $27M in July (with 600,000 donors overall, the campaign has not said how many of these were added in July). This is up from $22M the month before. He ended the month with $21.4M in cash on hand (made irrelevant by the RNC’s $75M in CoH).
Obama raised $51M in July (with 2,000,000 donors overall, 65,000 of whom were added in July). This is down slightly from $52M the month before. He ended the month with $65.8M in cash on hand (the DNC’s CoH is not yet available but will probably be dramatically less than the RNC’s CoH at the end of July).
Update: The DNC raised a surprising $28M during July. They usually raise far less than that, so this is actually quite impressive. This means that combined, Democrats (Obama plus the DNC) raised $79M in July, whereas Republicans (McCain’s campaign plus the RNC) raised $53M.
Update 2: Politico has CoH numbers for the end of July:
If you look at ready cash — the amount in the bank on July 31 — McCain appears better off:
Obama with the DNC had $94.3 million cash on hand.
McCain with the RNC had $96 million cash on hand.
