Does John McCain have anything to say besides attacking Obama?
by Arlen Parsa
Cindy McCain, May 8th, 2008:
“My husband is absolutely opposed to any negative campaigning at all.”
John McCain, April 21st, 2008:
“I have respectfully treated my friends on the other side of the aisle… I’m gonna promise you I will wage a respectful campaign.”
It’s becoming increasingly clear that since George Bush’s policies are not popular enough to campaign on, John McCain’s campaign is not really built on much, besides attacking Barack Obama. The only time that McCain makes news anymore is when he’s attacking Obama. This trend is illustrated clearly by a simple glance at the most recent videos uploaded to the Arizona senator’s YouTube account, one of the most popular official online outlets for the campaign. The 7 most recent videos, in order of most recent to older, each mention and attack Obama:
1. “Celeb” attack ad on Barack Obama
2. “Troops” attack ad on Barack Obama
3. “Obama Love” web parody video portraying the media as being in love with Barack Obama
4. “Pump” attack ad on Barack Obama
5. “Troop funding” attack ad on Barack Obama
6. “The Obama Iraq Documentary” web video attacking Barack Obama
7. “Obama Wrong on Iraq, Wrong for Afghanistan” web video attacking Barack Obama
For contrast, the 7 most recent videos from Barack Obama’s YouTube account include one response ad to McCain’s negative ads, and are otherwise made up of clips from Obama’s speeches or those of his surrogates. It’s a striking contrast.
Update: The Huffington Post seems to have noticed this trend as well.
The Daily Background

What qualifications does Grand Inquisitor, Ariana Huffington have??? NONE, except for getting a bunch of money from her wealthy gay ex husband. Did she become a loyal informed American by being born and raised in Greece? What gives her the right to put everyone else under the microscope and be so critical? We should put Arianna Huffington under the microscope!!!
