The new version of Firefox is out: Firefox 3. If you’re already a Firefox user but haven’t upgraded yet, give it a shot. I just upgraded this morning and it’s been a great experience so far. A few things are different but mostly it’s just the addition of cool new features that are going to make browsing a lot easier.
Oh, and one other thing. It loads pages faster. Way faster. Check out this site, The Daily Background for instance. In my experience, it’s been loading 2-3 times faster since I upgraded (!).
If you’re not already a Firefox user and haven’t checked it out, please do yourself a favor and give it a try. See what everybody’s talking about. It’s free, secure, fast, and it’s like the Prius of web browsers (whereas Internet Explorer, with all of its slow, bloated inefficient lumbering around is like the Hummer of web browsers).
