The Daily Background

Bush said to McClellan on the day he left the White House, “One of these days he and I are going to be rocking on chairs in Texas, talking about the good old days and his time as the Press Secretary… And I can assure you I will feel the same way then that I feel now, that I can say to Scott, job well done.”

Seems like that’s not so likely anymore.

So, is Scott McClellan the new John Dean? It sure seems like it. It’ll be fascinating to see how hard he is on the White House when he goes on the talk show circuit… And even more fascinating to see how the White House responds…
