Video- “Ready on Ring One”
by Arlen Parsa
A pretty funny parody video of Clinton’s new red phone ad. Apparently in the actual advertisements, Clinton’s phone is picked up after 6 rings, while in Obama’s reaction ad, the phone is picked up after only four rings, Think On These Things notes.
Side note: After Clinton released her red phone ad Friday morning in Texas, Obama’s campaign released his reaction ad by Friday afternoon. That’s, as Daily Kos’ georgia10 writes, is “(Really) Rapid Response… Attacks will be flying fast and furious in the general, and swift responses like this will be required. Should he become the nominee, the Obama campaign’s extraordinarily rapid response time is a great sign.”
MyDD’s Todd Beeton (who voted for Clinton) concludes of her ad and his response:
…the [Obama] campaign released its own response ad that both parodies Hillary’s ad and communicates in a compelling way Obama’s central message about his foreign policy asset: it’s about judgment, stupid.
So in the end, all Clinton’s ad really accomplished was to give Obama the opportunity both to show what an agile campaigner he is, but also to make the case that judgment is what’s really important when dealing with global threats, allowing him to hit back against not only Clinton but McCain as well. And I have to say, Obama scored on both counts. Seems to me the Obama campaign should be sending Hillary Clinton a thank you note right about now.
The Daily Background

This is a great video. It’s great that Obama got this out so quickly. It says a lot for his campaign.
God Bless America!!!Texas must show love for Hillary. 35 years of public experience and 1 vote that absolutely not her fault on how that vote was carried out versus 3 years in senate and already making excuses, and not taking resposibilities. And she’s a proven resiliant fighter all her life, strong, smart, and tested. Obama, the cookie is already crumbling!!!
