On Tuesday I interviewed Alderman Toni Preckwinkle, who represents Chicago’s 4th Ward for a documentary I’m working on about a local hospital that is having financial troubles. At the end of the interview while packing up, I asked her briefly about Barack Obama’s failed primary bid for Rep Bobby Rush’s seat back in the day, which he lost pretty decisively (61%-30%). Here’s a short clip:
Obama also happens to reside in Preckwinkle’s south side Ward.
