Another deep thought

I’ve seen Obama speak in person twice- once this year, once last year. Considering how many crowds of 5,000, 10,000, 15,000, 20,000, even 30,000 people that Obama’s campaign has been consistently drawing since last year, it really wouldn’t be that surprising if hundreds of thousands of people have seen him give his speeches.

That’s probably generated invaluable word of mouth buzz (if each person tells 5 people who they’re going to go speak tomorrow, and tell another 5 about the speech they saw yesterday… You do the math).

It just occurred to me though that what’s more impressive is that more people have probably seen Obama give a speech in person in the last few months than have seen Bush speak in his entire career.
