7:51 Obama goes over Clinton’s confused stance on drivers licenses for undocumented workers– only because he says he wants to highlight what a difficult political issue it is. Sneaky.

7:53 Commercial break.

7:57 Annnnnnd we’re back.

7:58 Ooooh, Wolf asks what experience Hill gained as First Lady qualifies her to be president. Hill answers by talking about pre-White House years. Talks about legislative work she did while in the WH. Also claims she was an ambassador to the world about women’s issues (somewhat debatable, but she gets big applause).

8:04 Obama snakes his arm over to Clinton’s chair and rests it there for a few seconds while talking about Bill Clinton’s presidency. I wonder if the pundits will be talking about that at all, Hmmmm

8:10 Hillary: “I want to be judged on my own merits,” says she doesn’t want to be judged on Bill’s presidency and goes RIGHT on to brag about Bill’s presidency. Slick. Gets big, big, big applause saying that it took a Clinton to clean up after the first Bush, and it’ll take anothe Clinton to clean up after the second.

8:13 Another commercial break.

8:16 Annnnnd we’re back.

8:17 Iraq. Hillary is asked that since she hasn’t offered an actual timeline under her presidency for the troops to get out, in response she highlights her back and forth with the Pentagon over withdrawal planning. Goes on to talk about how hard it will supposedly be to get the troops out, and won’t offer a date.

8:18 Obama says he won’t have permanent occupation or bases in Iraq in response to Hillary’s seeming wishy-washyness over a timetable under her presidency. Obama says it is important to set a date, period. Intrigue: says there may be a difference in residual forces between himself and Hill, but not 100% sure. ‘Bam uses the key phrase “mission creep.”

8:22 Obama: “I don’t want to just want to end the war, I want to end the mindset that got us into Iraq in the first place.”
