A few tidbits before the Democratic response…
Unidentified Rep says to Bush after handing him a copy of the speech to sign, “This one’s for Michelle Bachman.” Ever-clingy, even when she isn’t present.
Overheard:
Unidentified Rep: “You gonna come back next year?”
Bush: “I doubt it.”
Bush is pretending to be able to Spanish to Ken Salazaar. Heh.
Bush to somebody else:
“You’re an awesome dude, man.”
Rep Barney Frank mentions something about his boyfriend to the President in the Hall. Bush grabs his neck and scruffles it.
Yes, that’s Larry Craig pulling a Lieberman. Hat tip- Petulant via Shakes.

A CNN viewer writes in: “When did Mr Clinton have to deal with terrorist attacks… The most difficult decision he had to deal with was whether or not to commit adultery!” Hah. Somebody obviously doesn’t remember much from the 1990s (including multiple terrorist attacks).
