Given his advocation of illegal torture, unconstitutional spying, and the fact that he helped to lie us into war, some might wonder how Dick Cheney sleeps at night.
Actually, the Vice President apparently has no trouble sleeping at night– or at any other time of day for that matter.
Several photographers have caught the Veep dozing off at various public functions ranging from receptions of foreign heads of state to emergency briefings on the major natural disasters, such as 2007′s deadly California wildfires. Without further ado, I’ll let the photographic record speak for itself…

In April 2006, Cheney was caught nodding off Chinese President Hu Jintao’s first visit to the White House. A spokesperson for Cheney later claimed he was merely “reading his notes” without his reading glasses on.
