Video- “Caveman” jokes about Sherri Shepherd’s flat earth ignorance
by Arlen Parsa
Nick Kroll, the star of ABC’s new “Caveman” show (which spun off of GEICO’s now-nearly iconic “So easy even a caveman can do it” ads) appeared on The View today, and made a little fun of Sherri Shepherd, the co-host who recently denied evolution and is also known for expressing confusion over whether the earth is flat or round.
Partial transcript:
KROLL: There’s a lot of issues in modern society that cavemen face on a day to day basis and that’s what this show’s about. For us, what we’re dealing with is certain people don’t even think that cavemen exist in modern times. And some people don’t think that cavemen ever existed because they don’t believe in evolution. (Laughter)
SHEPHERD: Now where did you come from? Cause I couldn’t believe you were here.
KROLL: San Diego. (Laughter)
SHEPERD: Why don’t you see so many cavemen? I’m really interested.
KROLL: Well it’s tough… you know, there are tons of cavemen walking around this flat earth (Laughter), and they’re all in different places, and the beauty of it is that there are cavemen– you know there are plenty of famous cavemen, you know Neil Diamond is a caveman (Laughter).
