Heh, heh, heh, Mitt Romney’s campaign quickly took down a video of Larry Craig endorsing him from their YouTube account. Looks like they forgot about this press release which is still on their website though:

Governor Mitt Romney today announced the first 25 members of the Romney for President Idaho Leadership Team, a group of leading Idaho business and community leaders who will support Governor Romney as he campaigns in the state and across the nation. U.S. Senator Larry Craig and Lt. Governor James E. Risch will serve as Chairs of the effort.

With today’s announcement, Senator Larry Craig said, “Our government is in need of a proven leader like Governor Romney, who will put in place benchmarks and streamline our government using proven conservative principles. His message is resonating with voters and I’m looking forward to helping him on his way to winning the Republican nomination.”

  1. You had better “update” this page. The reference to Larry Craig is no longer applicable.

The reference has been removed by the Romney campaign website. So you must now “edit” your page to reflect their version of history.

Refuse to do so at your own peril. After all, Mitt will be the next president of the U.S.

  2. Haha yeah apparently they edited their own press release after the fact. Pretty low. A google cache of the old version is still available though.
