I am absolutely disgusted by Mitt Romney’s apparent endorsement of a comparison between Barack Obama and Osama bin Laden (or Chelsea’s momma, Hillary Clinton for that matter). Not only did the guy pose for a picture with the sign, he also held it up apparently, as the photo on the right seems to depict. Did he find this funny, or cute? Well it’s obviously neither. To compare a man who orchestrated a devastating attack on the United States, killing about 3,000 Americans, to a couple of politicians you might not like is absolutely crossing the line of civility. This is Ann Coulter-style politics.
Update: See here for an update.
The Daily Background

You’ve got to be kidding. The sign isn’t comparing Obama to Osama. It is a rhyme. You really had to reach out there for that. Some people think being indignant makes them look important or powerful… It’s a rhyme, like Anna Banana. And Anna isn’t being compared to a Banana. Grow up.
I think putting Obama, Clinton, and bin Laden in the same context as people the United States needs to “say no to” is pretty much comparing them, as has been pointed out by several other websites.
I find it interesting that she doesn’t know how to spell “mama” (which can also be “momma” but never “moma”). “Moma” is a museum in New York, not a parent.
Mitt had his macaca moment I see.
Extremist rightwing talking points and slogans have created this hate-filled ignorant base, they are yours you own them.
Good luck with that!
Congrats to Mitt on his “macaca” moment.
I find it interesting that she doesn’t know how to spell “mama†(which can also be “momma†but never “momaâ€). “Moma†is a museum in New York, not a parent.
Why?
They are in South Carolina! Republicans have been making sure those people stay poor and stay ignorant for along time running now. How else are they going to sell their snakeoil?
Educated people don’t buy what con men are selling, ignorant and uneducated people do in a hearbeat!
Hmm, yeah I did notice the kind of strange spelling there. If I saw the word “moma” in any other context, I think I might be tempted to pronounce it “mow-ma” rather than “momma”…
It’s not comparing Obama to Osama. It’s just three people Republicans are against and it rhymes. Also, I love how you guys feel it necessary to correct the spelling of baby talk.
It’s not comparing Obama to Osama.
Yes it is. Cut the BS, you want to apoligize for bigots then just come out and say so, don’t insult my intelligence by saying it was a innocent baby talk rhyme.
It’s just three people Republicans are against and it rhymes.
LAME EXCUSE.
You think Republicans are the only ones against Osama? Hows that dead or alive coming anyway? Under Republican rule we have more Osama recruits and according to our dear stupid leader, Bin Laudin’s alqueda is worse then pre 911.
Way to go as%holes. You lost two cities on your watch. 911 and NOLA.
Stop preaching to Democrats about national security, you people put the most incompetent man and his corporte croonies in charge of this nation and it has been nonthing short of diasterous for America and the word.
STFU, and ask Fox Fascist Channel to give you some new talking points.
[…] has conflated Obama with Osama before. In late July, he was caught gleefully posing with a Repubican voter and a sign that suggested Americans should say “no” to Obama and […]
