BREAKING: Republican Senator admits buying sex from DC Madam!

Breaking news, a very short time ago:
U.S. Sen. David Vitter (R-La.) acknowledged Monday night that his number appears on telephone records of the alleged DC Madam, Deborah Jeane Palfrey, and issued a statement of apology.
“This was a very serious sin in my past for which I am, of course, completely responsible,†Vitter said.
“Several years ago, I asked for and received forgiveness from God and my wife in confession and marriage counseling. Out of respect for my family, I will keep my discussion of the matter there — with God and them. But I certainly offer my deep and sincere apologies to all I have disappointed and let down in any way.â€
The alleged “DC Madam” claims that only “fantasy massages” were offered at her business until the feds shut it down earlier this year. Previously, the only other high-profile person caught using the escort service was one of President Bush’s Iraq war architects, Harlan Ullman. ABC News had previously had access to the telephone logs that have only recently been posted online, but said that Tobias was the only “newsworthy” person on the list. Apparently that wasn’t true.
