I know this may come as a shock to some of you, but PETA is run by some ignorant publicity-whore idiots:

Nuff said:
Before beginning the drive, Mitt Romney put Seamus, the family’s hulking Irish setter, in a dog carrier and attached it to the station wagon’s roof rack.
[…]
As the oldest son, Tagg Romney commandeered the way-back of the wagon, keeping his eyes fixed out the rear window, where he glimpsed the first sign of trouble. “Dad!” […]

Longtime readers know that the Pentagon’s bigoted and discriminatory “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” policy is one of my pet issues. CNN/OPR today has an encouraging new poll out, showing that a stunning 79% of Americans believe that the unconstitutional policy should be scrapped, and gay and lesbian Americans should be free to serve openly and […]

CBS/NYT partnered with MTV to do a poll among the “youth” (17 to 29 year olds) about the 2008 election. The results, while they don’t mean a whole lot right now, are fun.
Take for instance that more young Republicans describe themselves as “excited about Obama” than describe themselves as “excited” by any of the Republican […]

The Servicemembers Legal Defense Network (a very good pro-equality advocacy group that seeks to protect gay and lesbian people serving in uniform from the Pentagon’s bigoted and discriminatory “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” policy) sent out a press release today suggesting that the Pentagon’s stance on “Don’t Ask” is evolving (the general public already disagrees with […]

Earlier this year, Ann Coulter called Democratic candidate John Edwards a faggot. Now she’s says “I’ve learned my lesson, if I’m gonna say anything about John Edwards in the future, I’ll just wish he’d been killed in a terrorist assassination plot.”
John’s wife Elizabeth called into Hardball today to respond to Ann, who is promoting the […]

Doing the jobs Americans won’t do. Part 1:
