On April 1st 2001, Canadian television station CBC aired a comedy special called “Talking to Americans” which featured host Rick Mercer traveling around the US and asking Americans questions designed to show how little they knew about Canada. One of the show’s segments, shot in Arkansas, even managed to fool governor Mike Hucakbee, a Republican now running for president.
