In February, I wrote:

…arch-conservative Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia’s 45 year old daughter was arrested for DUI in a suburb outside of Chicago. Officials won’t release what her blood-alcohol-level was at the time of arrest. She’s been charged with reckless child endangerment as well, because three children were in the vehicle she was driving while allegedly drunk. Released on a “personal recognizance bond” which means that she didn’t pay any money but just promised to show up later when called to. No further details available.

Scalia’s daughter has now pled guilty to Driving Under the Influence. She was immediately sentenced to 18 months of court supervision and 140 hours of community service, along with required attendance at counseling sessions. The plea deal they worked out threw away charges of child endangerment and failure to use a carseat for a child younger than 8.
