Karl Rove’s crony Tim Griffin (who everyone thinks Rove got appointed as US Attorney in Little Rock Arkansas) is finally resigning from his job, effective June 1st. The Department of Justice had originally planned to sneak-appoint Griffin, but the Senate noticed and obviously, it didn’t go over well.

Interesting side note, Griffin just happens to also be in the news because he’s also apparently auditioning for a job at the Fred Thompson campaign (which is not officially yet in existence, but still). Is he quitting now because he’s sure he’s got the job?
