| CNN: 61% want Congress to set benchmarks for Iraq

From the new CNN/OPR poll released today:
One proposal would provide additional funds for U.S. troops in Iraq and would require the U.S. to start withdrawing all its troops from Iraq by a specific date. Would you favor or oppose this bill?
Favor: 57%
Oppose: 41%
No opinion: 2%Some proposals would provide additional funds for troops in Iraq and set benchmarks that the Iraqi government must meet to show that progress is being made in Iraq, but would not set a date for troop withdrawal. Would you favor or oppose this bill?
Favor: 61%
Oppose: 36%
No opinion: 3%
I’m a bit disappointed there wasn’t a question about the 2-month plan that Reps Obey and Murtha have been pushing recently, but those numbers look great.
