The Daily Background

Slightly unclear reports are suggesting that there has been or is an ongoing shooting in Kansas City, Missouri, with at least two people dead. It’s not certain whether or not the shooter is in police custody. CNN is reporting that the shooter is among the dead.

Side note: it’s being said that the shooter may have an AK-47, which would have been illegal if Republican-controlled Congress had not allowed the assault weapons ban expire…

Update: It’s still sort of unclear what happened, but four people are dead including the gunman.
