Bush on Iraq: “Give my chance a plan to work” (Video)
by Arlen Parsa
In what was perhaps a freudian slip, President Bush slipped up in an interview last night with PBS host Charlie Rose. “Give my plan a chance to work” is what Bush probably meant to say, regarding his surge policy in Iraq.
What he actually said was: “Give my chance a plan to work.”
A simple mixup or an honest admission that he had a chance to fix things but no plan? Probably the latter, knowing the the level of honesty and verbal confusion that has plagued the current Administration thus far. Watch a clip below; the flub happens at 26 seconds in.
Rose, the host, did not blink and went right with the interview, perhaps not noticing the gaffe, or merely pretending that he did not notice.
