The (e) Paper Trail
The White House-personnel-using-RNC-email-accounts story is getting more complicated, with yesterday’s revelations from the White House that they may have made some… mistakes.

The AP reported yesterday: “The White House said Wednesday it had mishandled Republican Party-sponsored e-mail accounts used by nearly two dozen presidential aides, resulting in the loss of an undetermined number of e-mails concerning official White House business.”

Also of note, Karl Rove apparently uses the RNC account for 95% of his email communications. And this doesn’t only have to do with the US Attorney Purge Scandal; it’s also got Abramff implications.
McClatchy:

“Some communications that have come to light suggest that officials may have used the outside system to conceal some of their communications.

“I now have an RNC blackberry which you can use to e-mail me any time. No security issues like my WH email,” Susan Ralston, a former Rove aide, told now-disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff in a 2001 e-mail.

Senate
The Senate Judiciary Committee will vote today on whether or not to subpoena more Department of Justice documents from Alberto Gonzales’ office. Under Senate rules, any member of the Committee can delay the subpoena vote for one week.

House
The House of Reps is expected to return on April 16th.

Iraq
