Obama sent this out in an email to supporters today:

In less than three months, a staggering 100,000 Americans have contributed to our cause — tens of thousands more than the number reported by any other campaign. That’s on top of the hundreds of thousands who have attended rallies, started groups and shared their ideas and energy.

It’s been a truly historic response — a measure of just how hungry people are to turn the page on this era of small and destructive politics and repair our American community.

And because of that extraordinary base of support, we were able to raise an astonishing $25 million — $23.5 million of which can be used to help us in the upcoming primary contests.

Wow, they say they’ve raised over 25M which is within 1 million of what Hillary raised. Holy crap.

Per the WaPo:

And of Obama’s overall receipts, $23.5 million is eligible for use in the primary contests. Clinton officials have declined to disclose how much of her cash is available for the primaries — rather than designated for the general election and therefore blocked off unless she wins the nomination — raising suspicions that she raised less for the primaries than Obama did.

Yeah, that sounds about right. Obama had the most individual donations by far, which means they were mostly smaller amounts of money, rather than people maxing out the full 4,600 or however much it is now with half for the primary and half for the general as a lot of Hillary’s big dollar donors did. I think we’ll find out on April 15th that Obama actually outraised Hillary for the primary, setting a new record.
