Karl Rove doesn’t want his rich white son to have to do poor hispanic work
by Arlen Parsa
Here’s the (conservative) National Review today:
According to a congressman’s wife who attended a Republican women’s luncheon yesterday, Karl Rove explained the rationale behind the president’s amnesty/open-borders proposal this way: “I don’t want my 17-year-old son to have to pick tomatoes or make beds in Las Vegas.”
Aw poor Karl doesn’t want his white son to be doing work like that (not like he’s in much danger of having to do that type of work: Rove is a multi-millionaire). Further proof that the President doesn’t want a guest worker program isn’t because it’s a more practical solution than deporting 11 million people, it isn’t because it’s the compassionate conservative thing to do, it’s because he wants cheap exploitative labor.
