Followup: friendly-fire death video UK claimed didn’t exist posted online

The video that the British government repeatedly told relatives of a fatal friendly fire attack by Americans on British in March 2003 during the initial invasion of Iraq has been posted online by The Sun today.

I was evidently one of the first in the blogosphere to write about this situation last night, and it seems to have exploded in terms of coverage over the last 24 hours- both in the blogosphere and in traditional media- the AP has an article out now and there are more US outlets picking it up. The Sun, in their full article about the incident, has identified what it calls five fatal errors that led to two US National Guard pilots mistakenly bombing the British cavalry unit. No reprimands were ever officially given to those involved in the incident.
