Also in related Iraq news, the Senate heard testimony today from Iraq Study Group co-chairs James Baker and Lee Hamilton indicating that there are serious flaws in the Iraq security forces training programs, leading the Associated Press to headline an article “U.S. May Have Botched Training of Iraqis.”

The Senate also heard testimony which indicated that inexperienced private contractors assigned to train Iraqis were at least in part at fault for the poor job that has been done building Iraq’s security forces.
