Who’s still in denial about the Iraqi civil war?

LA Times: Not in denial-
Iraq’s civil war worsened Friday as Shiite and Sunni Arabs engaged in retaliatory attacks after coordinated car bombings that killed more than 200 people in a Shiite neighborhood the day before. A main Shiite political faction threatened to quit the government, a move that probably would cause its collapse and plunge the nation deeper into disarray.
NY Times’ Maureen Dowd: Not in denial-
With a timely reference to the rise and fall of the O.J. Simpson tell-some book (and what she’s calls the “Thanksgiving Day Massacre” in Iraq) Maureen Dowd in her Saturday column for The New York Times suggests that President Bush go on Fox News and declare, “IF I did it — here’s how the civil war in Iraq happened.â€
