The Daily Background

I’m really tired so I’ll be going to bed early tonight. A few notes before I go, however:

• My new op-ed in Truthout will be published on Sunday or Monday (earlier I thought it was gonna be today). No biggy.
• Thanksgiving is a traditionally slow news time. Less people are out making news, and less people are out reporting news. The same is true for the fourth of July, Christmas, and New Years, as well as most weekends.
• I’ll be with the family until Monday, but posting will continue pretty much the same as usual, if a bit less.
