| Blatantly unconstitutional: Racists ban flying foreign flags without American flags

The following is not only embarrassingly racist legislation, but almost undoubtedly also unconstitutional:
The town council of Pahrump, which lies in the Mojave Desert west of Las Vegas, voted 3-2 on Tuesday to make flying any foreign flag above the U.S. flag or alone an offense punishable by a $50 (26 pounds) fine and 30 hours’ community service.
“All of the illegal alien protesters are waving Mexican flags, and we just got tired of it,” town board clerk Paul Willis told Reuters in a telephone interview.
“It is clearly unconstitutional, but given that Pahrump that is such a small town, I don’t think they are going to be hiring any flag police any time soon.” said John Trasvina, the president and general counsel of the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund.
You and your racist friends got sick of seeing different flags and diversity, so you made it illegal to have flags that aren’t accompanied by American flags? I seriously hope the ACLU takes this issue up as soon as somebody gets fined for flying a non-American flag without an American one. This is so blatantly unconstitutional, it’s ironic that these racist fools think that they’re protecting America and American values, while they are actually implementing blatantly unconstitutional measures.
