ABC News says Abramoff still has more to tell, but he’ll be slowed considerably in his ability to spill the beans because he’s going to start serving a 6-year prison sentence tomorrow. He’ll still be in contact with federal investigators and prosecutors, and will still be dishing out the details of his corrupt dealings, but it’ll just be at a slower rate. ABC reports:

Sources close to the investigation say Abramoff has provided information on his dealings with and campaign contributions and gifts to “dozens of members of Congress and staff,” including what Abramoff has reportedly described as “six to eight seriously corrupt Democratic senators.”

The sources say Abramoff was about to provide information about Bush administration officials, including Karl Rove, “accepting things of value” from Abramoff.

Just like everybody else, I can’t wait for Abramoff to give details to the feds. Everybody who’s corrupt needs to get the hell out of Congress (Democrat or Republican). Let the indictments fall where they may. That said, there are going to be one hell of a lot more Republican indictments than Dem ones. Everybody should be celebrating that the feds are so aggressively investigating congressional corruption these days. And the Rove part? That’s just icing on the cake.
