The Daily Background

I understand that pressure is growing on the Allen camp to just hurry up and concede defeat already. It’s probably the same with Burns, although most people are just ignoring him (probably because the media loves to talk about Allen– it’s a much more compelling story, what with the racism caught on tape, the dashed 2008 presidential hopes, etc…. Burns is just a regular Senator and can’t compete… although he does have a tendency to fall asleep at important times)… We’ll see if he concedes by the end of the day, but Smart People^TM will be looking out for an announcement sooner rather than later.
