Exit polling starts trickling out
by Arlen Parsa
The networks hate it when exit polls get leaked to bloggers early, and so this year they’ve imposed a super secret embargo on results which consists of an ultra-secure “quarantine room” where two analyists will apparently be sitting without any communication to the outside world, crunching numbers as they come in from around the country. Supposedly they don’t even let them go to the bathroom, without security guards watching (I’m actually serious).
Anyways, exit poll data started making its way to networks a little while ago, and CNN started reporting a few generic issue results (corruption is the biggest issue by far– a great sign for Democrats).
In addition, below are some totally crazy batshit nuts probably fake but noteworthy nonetheless exit polls results:
VA: 53-46
RI: 53-46
PA: 57-42
OH: 57-43
NJ: 53-45
MT: 53-46
MO: 50-48
TN: 51-48
AZ: 50-46
Polls in bold show Democrats leading. That’s six– exactly what we need to take over the Senate (if you count NJ, that’s 7, but since it’s a Dem incumbent and we keep the seat instead of gain it, I’m not counting it). As I said, these are totally batshit crazy, and unconfirmed and probably fake. But you, dear reader, deserve to know that these batshit insane exit poll numbers are at least floating around. Expect real exit polls to start trickling in after polls close.
