The Daily Background

Unless something extraordinary but not election-related happens, I think 100% of tomorrow’s coverage will be devoted to the midterm elections. So today I’m going to try and publish a good deal of stuff that has little or nothing to do with the elections, to get it out of my system and clean out my Firefox tabs. Coverage will be ongoing all day tomorrow, but expect ernest coverage to start around 7PM Eastern tomorrow. On Tuesday morning and afternoon, we might be talking about exit polls, turnout reports and last minute predictions, or a host of other election related issues.
