Believe it or not: LexisNexis archives Wonkette posts

This is too funny. As I mentioned recently, I now have access to LexisNexis. So I’ve been playing around with it, because it’s a tremendously amazing tool. But guess what? They actually archive Wonkette entries! Can you believe that? The most powerful academic research service on the internet, usually used by professors, researchers and reporters– archives the dirty DC blog Wonkette! Hahaha this is too hilarious.

They don’t archive the photos, but the text is there. I have to wonder how many academic types are gonna be confused when they come across thousands of explicative-laced and innuendo-laden Wonkette entries about fifty years from now while they’re trying to research early 21st century Washington DC politics. Directly below is an original Wonkette entry from July 5th, and below that is the ‘Nexis version.
