Admittedly corrupt Republican Rep Bob Ney to finally resign

Republican Representative Bob Ney is finally resigning, weeks after pleading guilty to Abramoff-related corruption charges.

Ney had still been collecting hundreds of dollars every day as part of his salary after promising to plead guilty and later pleading guilty. I’ve complained (cartoon) about how long he stayed on the public payroll before.

Update: It’s official.

    I’m not sure why but this website is loading very slow for me. Is anyone else having this issue or is it a problem on my end? I’ll check back later on and see if the problem still exists.
