Tom DeLay has no idea what the hell he is talking about

I don’t think water boarding is torture. My definition of torture is you physically harm someone by cutting them, by cutting their fingers, sticking things in their eyes, sticking their fingers in electric sockets. Water boarding is a frightening experience. But the person does not have physical damage.
Republican Former House Majority Leader DeLay has no idea what the hell he is talking about. Waterboarding can cause permenant dammage to the lungs and body, and can also be deadly. The United Nations CAT (Convention Against Torture), to which the United States is a party to, specifically bans torture like waterboarding.
For more information on what waterboarding is, check out a post I wrote a few days ago explaining the torture technique in detail.
