The Daily Background

This, from a totally unscientific CNN poll. Still, I think it shows that there’s no clear consensus on the issue. I discussed this issue earlier today in greater depth. Saddam Hussein was expected to be convicted and sentenced two days before the November 7th midterm elections- timing that many people (myself included) find suspicious. Now there is talk of delaying the verdict, which may or may not happen.
