After having pled guilty today to Abramoff-related corruption charges, Republican Congressman Bob Ney has announced through his lawyer that he will announce in a week or two– not immediately. Republican leadership has egg on their face.

There are rumors that House leadership will try and make a move to kick him out before he’s ready. Every day that he stays in office after having pled guilty to corruption charges looks worse and worse.
