Phew.

Just days after its release, Bob Woodward’s State of Denial “has already gone into its third printing, with 900,000 copies in print for the latest, and harshest, chronicle of the Bush administration by the celebrated Washington Post reporter.”

Holy cow. Since when are 570-page nonfiction books about politics popular in America? Can somebody please pinch me?

You can read about several scoops in Woodward’s epic here. The White House has already gone on the defensive about it, mere days after its release. The scheduled release of the book was Monday, however Woodward’s publisher (Simon & Schuster) pushed it out the door two days early because of intense speculation and leaked media reports over the contents of the book, which is now flying off shelves and has been at the top of Amazon.com’s best-seller list for several days now.
