Ironically enough, 52-year-old Republican Congressman Mark Foley’s MySpace profile says he doesn’t “want” kids. He abruptly resigned today in complete disgrace, after it was revealed that he may have been stalking multiple House pages, all minors.

Suspicious email correspondences with one 16 year old male page, and multiple lewd transcripts of AOL Instant Messenger conversations […]

Iraq scraps last semblence of free press

How dare anybody criticize the Iraqi government:

Under a broad new set of laws criminalizing speech that ridicules the government or its officials, some resurrected verbatim from Saddam Hussein’s penal code, roughly a dozen Iraqi journalists have been charged with offending public officials in the past year.
Currently, three journalists for a small newspaper in southeastern Iraq […]

Breaking news, guys… I’m hearing that Republican House Representative Mark Foley will be resigning today. Recently a questionable email correspondence was leaked by a House page (a minor) to the press, which shows the Florida Congressman asking for a picture of the minor and asking how old they are.
Well now I hear that ABC News […]

So apparently now I’m adding former White House Chief of staff Andrew Card to our gigantic Rumsfeld Resign list. Wow, didn’t see that one coming. And this was done in secret back in 2004 and 2005 too.

Awesome: I just scared a Republican’s Senate campaign into trying to cover their tracks (photo evidence)

Well, it looks like I scared Republican Senate candidate Michael Bouchard’s campaign into unsubscribing from the YouTube user “RightWingSoldier” after I sent them an email asking for an explanation of the candidate’s failure to intervene in a case of harassment which occurred at one of his campaign events recently which happened mere feet in front […]

Expect a lot of scoops to be coming out in the days following the release of the new Bob Woodward chronicle. Woodward, who gave President Bush mostly favorable print in his previous two books about the Administration, is taking a decidedly different (and more critical) tack this time around. Raw Story reports on the first […]

By the way, the President’s unconstitutional detainee bill passed the Senate tonight, as expected. The vote was unfortunately 65-34, with 12 Dems defecting. I thought it was gonna be closer, with the Leahy-Specter habeas corpus amendment failing by only three votes.
This bill probably won’t become law this year though (because the House version is significantly […]

$21.45 million. That’s roughly how much Kenneth ‘I love writing about oral sex almost as much as Bill O’Reilly does‘ Starr spent in the first three years of his eight-year politically-motivated investigation of whether or not former President Clinton cheated on his wife or not, and also the whole (entirely cooked up) Whietwater debackle. And […]

George Allen is not Jewish. He swears it. If he’s anything, he’s not Jewish. He really, really, really wants you to know this. It’s very important to him that he’s not. He loves his mother’s pork chops. He is also a fan of […]
