Well, it looks like I scared Republican Senate candidate Michael Bouchard’s campaign into unsubscribing from the YouTube user “RightWingSoldier” after I sent them an email asking for an explanation of the candidate’s failure to intervene in a case of harassment which occurred at one of his campaign events recently which happened mere feet in front of him.

Video evidence of the incident was put up on “RightWingSoldier” YouTube account (in a bragging manner), and was later abruptly removed. I had luckily archived the video, and put it back online for people to watch.

I emailed Republican Michael Bouchard’s campaign asking for an explanation of what happened and why nothing was done to stop the harassment of a young Democrat attending the event with a camcorder, and they declined to give me an official statement, or any statement at all. However, the official YouTube account of the campaign, “MikeBouchardForMich” has now unsubscribed from the user “RightWingSoldier” which posted the video of the harassment in a bragging “look what we did to this liberal” manner.

This screenshot was taken on September 26th at 1:02AM (central). As you can see now by visiting RightWingSoldier’s profile, the user MikeBouchadForMich is no longer subscribed. A second screenshot, also taken on September 26th shows MikeBouchardForMich subscribed to RightWingSoldier’s account (the only “channel” Bouchard’s official account was subscribed to, by the way). The Bouchard campaign’s official YouTube account is now not subscribed to anybody.

Apparently my inquiry into whether or not Bouchard’s Senate campaign supported the Democrat-harassment activities of “RightWingSoldier” (maintained by a couple of Michigan College Republicans) scared the campaign off. Well, at least they read my email.

Plus now I can say that I scared a Republican’s Senate campaign into trying to cover up whatever connection they may have had with these College Republicans. Except for the fact that I had the foresight (again) to take a screenshot to prove that they had previously subscribed to them.
