Well I guess everybody has already heard about it now or will have very soon. I was planning to write about this tomorrow when more details were available (and the rumor had been confirmed), but since the AP filed a story on it tonight then I guess everyone will have the story in a hours so I might as well post it tonight.

Recently-retired Republican Representative (RRRRRRRR) Bob Ney has secretly agreed to plead guilty to Abramoff-related corruption charges very soon. Perhaps Friday. This- according to Republiccan sources. Unknown is how many counts he’ll plead guilty to. At least one, people say.

The AP (captain of the obvious at times) has oh-so-sagely noted in their writeup “Any guilty plea would likely renew public attention on a corruption investigation that has unfolded slowly in the months leading to the midterm elections.” Now that the Associated Press has proclaimed it, can expect it to happen.

Yeah, seriously get ready to hear lots more about this.
