Armitage: I was one of Novak’s sources

Fresh news in the CIA leak case- Richard Armitage has confirmed that he was one of Novak’s sources.
In an exclusive interview with CBS News national security correspondent David Martin, Richard Armitage, once the No. 2 diplomat at the State Department, couldn’t be any blunter.
“Oh I feel terrible. Every day, I think I let down the president. I let down the Secretary of State. I let down my department, my family and I also let down Mr. and Mrs. Wilson,” he says.
When asked if he feels he owes the Wilsons an apology, he says, “I think I’ve just done it.”
Apparently he went to Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald earlier this week and asked if it would be okay to make public his involvement in the case. Fitzgerald gave him the okay, and so he’s talking now.
Recently, conservative columnist Robert Novak (who originally published Valerie Plame’s name and outed her as a covert CIA agent) said that although he was not going to reveal the source himself, he felt it was past due time for his source to come forward.
