Bill Frist, MD not so much of an MD after all…
by Arlen Parsa
So… Now we learn that the Senate Majority Leader, Bill Frist M.D. who “diagnosed” Terri Shaivo via an edited video of her, and came to the exact wrong conclusion about her condition– would not be allowed to work in a hospital. He hasn’t done the work required to keep his status as a medial professional, according to the Associtaed Press today.
Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist will probably be fined and have to make up for failing to do continuing medical education that Tennessee requires of doctors with active licenses.

In a license renewal form filed with the board earlier this year, Frist certified he had met the state’s continuing education requirement — 40 hours over the previous two years. In response to several inquiries from The Associated Press, however, the Tennessee Republican acknowledged Tuesday that he had not done all the work.
Not only did he not do the required work to maintain his status as a certified doctor– but he also lied about it on official paperwork. Ooh, naughty. Thank goodness he isn’t running for re-election this year (instead he’s letting his term expire to persue 2008 Presidential ambitions).
