Let’s not forget that it was former Democrat Joe Lieberman who headed Michael “Heck of a job” Brown’s 46-minute Senate confirmation hearings. Brown, who served as head of FEMA during Hurricane Katrina had no experience in emergency management until he was appointed by President Bush to the top job in the field. Brown’s previous job experience was that he ran horse shows. He was a big Bush campaign contributer though and a friend of many in the Administration.
More than 1,800 Americans died because of inadequate response to Hurricane Katrina, one year ago. Brown is pictured above with President Bush and totally inept Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff. Shortly after Katrina hit New Orleans, former Democrat Joe Lieberman appeared on national television to defend President Bush and say that nobody should play the “blame game.”
