Documentary Update: Editing begins
by Arlen Parsa

Cars line up, waiting to cross the U.S.-Canadian border.
This is an update on the documentary I’m working on.
Well, my epic clip-logging marathon finished yesterday, and managed to import some footage and actually piece together a scene at about 4am in the morning. It was pretty rough and way too long. I think that’s one of the major problems I’m going to have with this project- I had originally planned for this to be maybe 15 minutes long maximum.
Yeahhhhh about that. The first scene I edited ended up being 9 minutes by itself. I’m going to have to tighten it up a great deal, but at the moment I’m just leaving behind any expectations or targets of length for this thing.
It’s not going to be that long until I start posting teaser clips on YouTube though, so keep your eyes open for when I post those. At some point I’ll whip up a trailer and put that online too. For the moment however, I promised myself that I would start attaching still frames from the footage (starting in the last post about this project), so the above is another one of those.
