It’s a series of tubes, donchaknow. All audio clips are real, and uttered by the very confused Senator himself (background on the incident here, full audio of Steven’s idiotic speech here). The New York Times even mentioned this video.

No major international or American news services have picked […]

Sweet music video about rising gas prices. Sponsored by the Center for American Progress (the thinktank that runs the excellent ThinkProgress blog). On the way back from New York yesterday, we noticed some stations offering $3.26 for regular and were surprised at how expensive it was.

Airstrikes continued in Beirut today, and Hezbollah fired a rocket into a building in an Israeli government railroad yard in southern Lebanon, which killed eight and left many more wounded. According to the Israeli minister of transportation, Shaul Mafaz, Hezbollah did not use the kind of rocket that they normally use, a 120mm Katusha rocket. […]

We were just at the hunger strike protest to free political prisoners with some Iranian dissidents accross from the United Nations compound (about 100 Iranians showed up).

Earlier today, an Israeli missle killed 15 and wounded six in a southern port in Lebanon, and an Israeli aircraft bombed the Haret Hreik district (in southern Beirut), killing 12 and wounding 32.
