Actor Michael J. Fox, very visibly suffering from advanced Parkinson’s disease, explains how he feels about the President vetoing federally funded stem cell research. A large majority of Americans support stem cell research, and the bill passed through Congress easily with bipartisan support, but the President used his first ever veto to kill the legislation.

It’s kind of a hard video to watch (for me at least), this issue is obviously very important to the poor guy and he’s making a real effort to try and control his body but is having a difficult time. Watching it again almost brings tears to my eyes, but maybe that’s just because of what happened with my grandfather and Parkinson’s makes this especially painful.

  1. This made me terribly sad for the guy. I was hopelessly hoping for too much perhaps.
